A preschool boy and girl sit at a table in a colorful classroom, sharing a digital tablet and engaging in interactive learning together.Teaching preschool and kindergarten is both rewarding and challenging: you’re nurturing curious minds during their most formative years. We created WonJo Kids to support you in this important work, giving you engaging tools that meet your students wherever they are in their learning journey.

What WonJo Kids Offers: A Curriculum Built by Educators, for Educators

Our curriculum was developed by teachers, education experts, and child psychologists who understand what young learners need. We’ve blended well-established standards (Common Core, CASEL, Head Start, and NGSS), to create comprehensive content across six essential domains.

Our Six Learning Domains

Math: From foundational number sense to early problem-solving, we cover counting, numbers, Montessori-inspired activities, addition and subtraction, sorting, measurement and comparison, shapes, patterns and sequencing, and spatial awareness.

Literacy: We build the building blocks of reading and writing through letters, phonemes, uppercase and lowercase writing practice, vocabulary development (nouns, adjectives, verbs), and fine motor skills essential for writing.

Science: Spark curiosity about the world with content covering the human body, earth and space sciences, life science (habitats, plant growth), animals, time and seasons, and caring for nature through recycling and environmental awareness.

Emotional and Physical Well-Being: Support the whole child with mindfulness activities, food and nutrition education, sports and movement, and self-care and daily routines.

Thinking Skills: Develop cognitive skills identified as crucial by OECD, the World Economic Forum, and Digital Promise. We focus on executive functions like memory, self-control, and focus, plus coding and prompting basics, problem-solving, spatial awareness, and creativity.

Social Skills: Help children navigate their social world by understanding and managing emotions, respecting differences and personal space, practicing politeness and kindness, appreciating community helpers, and learning to help animals and people.

Practical Ways to Use WonJo Kids in Your Classroom

Introducing New Topics

Use our cartoons as engaging conversation starters when introducing new subjects like question words, gravity, or cardinal directions. They capture attention and make abstract concepts concrete and relatable.

Movement and Transition Times

Play our songs to help kids move, dance, and release energy in productive ways. Use the handwashing song during bathroom breaks or songs about personal space when you notice your class needs that gentle reminder.

Active Learning Through Play

Let students explore and learn at their own pace through our interactive games. They will receive encouraging feedback and have plenty of opportunities to try, make mistakes, and try again

Reinforcing Lessons in Different Formats

Teach the same concept multiple ways. Let kids sing about letters, play games to match and form words, and practice writing them through interactive activities. This multi-sensory approach helps knowledge stick.

Collaborative Learning

We have co-play games designed for pairs, encouraging both cooperation and healthy competition. These are perfect for building social skills while learning academic content.

Whole Class and Small Group Activities

Project the app on your big screen for whole-class participation, or divide students into small groups for richer discussions and peer learning. Both approaches have unique benefits.

Extra Support at Home

If certain students need additional practice, introduce games at school and suggest parents continue the learning at home. This creates a valuable home-school connection.

Why WonJo Kids Works for Every Classroom

Content That Prioritizes Well-Being

Every game, cartoon, and song we create follows UNICEF and LEGO’s RITEC-8 framework, meaning your students’ well-being comes first. We’re not just teaching content; we’re nurturing healthy, happy learners.

Designed for All Students

We’re proud to hold the Learner Variability Certification from Digital Promise. What does this mean for you? No matter your students’ backgrounds, learning needs, or cognitive skills, WonJo Kids has something that will resonate with and support them. Every child can benefit.

Diverse Characters Your Students Can See Themselves In

Representation matters. Our characters come from diverse backgrounds so all your students can find someone they relate to and feel included in their learning.

Multiple Ways to Teach the Same Concept

We know children learn differently. That’s why each concept is taught through games, cartoons, and songs: Your students can sing about numbers, practice writing them in games, then see how they’re used in real-life contexts through our cartoons.

Features That Make Your Life Easier

Smart Search Function Quickly find specific content types or characters using our search feature (they can search with any keywords like a concept or character)

Detailed Learning Information Tap the “i” icon on any content thumbnail to see the specific learning outcome and how to play. This helps you intentionally select content that matches your teaching goals.

Classroom-Friendly Audio Settings Under Settings, you can turn off the app’s background music or just the game music while keeping all voicelines and necessary sounds. This reduces classroom noise while maintaining the learning experience.

Printable Resources and Online Games Access our collection of online games and downloadable math worksheets that you can use directly in class. These resources work perfectly for center time, independent practice, or when you need offline activities that complement what students are learning in the app.

Getting Started

You don’t need to overhaul your teaching approach. Start small: maybe introduce one cartoon this week as a discussion starter, or try a song during transition time. Notice what resonates with your students and build from there.

We’re here to support the incredible work you’re already doing. WonJo Kids is here to complement your teaching toolkit, designed to make learning more engaging, accessible, and joyful for every child in your classroom.
